When we come into your home to conduct a chimney inspection, we’ll first look at the overall health of your chimney. If you’ve kept up on your inspections and have had no major home chimney events, we will do a check for general problems. Major chimney events may include the likes of a chimney fire or natural disaster. During this inspection, we’ll provide a thorough examination of the major areas of chimney wear and tear. This could include making sure that the mortar is in good shape, the chimney cap and crown are not cracked, the flashing is secure and in good condition, and the dampers are working properly. We’ll take our time making sure that all the creosote is out and that there are no blockages.

If our inspection shows damage, we may suggest a deeper inspection. In a Level Two or Three inspection, we’ll use our video equipment to take a close look at the interior of your chimney. This allows us to determine where problems exist and get in there to do any necessary repair work. Our sweeps are trained in all the necessary repair work, and we are diligent about keeping up our certifications and education in the major institutes of the chimney sweep industry. We are proudly educated and certified through the National Fire Protection Association, National Chimney Sweep Guild, and the Certified Chimney Professionals. This ongoing training ensures that the services we offer will always be at the cutting edge of industry standards. We offer all types of chimney work and repair. Whether it’s something common, like creosote removal and debris and nest removal or major chimney restoration or rebuilds.
